A jury ruled that the owners of New York’s Plaza Hotel can use the Plaza name on a proposed resort-casino on the Las Vegas Strip, despite the existence nearby of another Plaza Hotel and Casino.

Elad Properties is planning Plaza hotels in London, Las Vegas and Shanghai, among other cities. The Las Vegas Plaza, which is expected to include some 3,000 rooms, may be the first one to be built.
