The truth is that President Franklin D. Roosevelt changed course from year to year, trying a mix of policies, some good and some bad.
The most basic task is to restore a sense of fairness to and faith in our economic system — much as Franklin D. Roosevelt did in the 1930s.
In the face of an economic abyss, America is in need of a leader like Franklin D. Roosevelt who can both unite and inspire.
